The RFC Flight Training Program includes operating policies, procedures and requirements as established in accordance with the Canadian Aviation Regulations. Our programs ensure safe and effective conduct of flight training. Transport Canada minimum training requirements are listed with estimates, for more accurate financial plans 

Recreational Pilot Permit

Dual Instruction: 20 hrs @$285 = $5700
Solo Flight Time: 5 hrs @$210 = $1050
Ground Briefing: 5 hrs @$75 = $375

Instrument Rating

Estimated costs may be provided on request as such costs will reflect each individual’s previous experience and currency. In addition, the Instrument Rating may be acquired on either a single or multi-engine airplane. Flight time on our approved flight simulator may reduce total costs of the rating.
