Weather conditions are one of the most important factors in flight planning and your safety while flying is our top priority. To ensure that everyone operates in the safest possible manner, we have established ‘Dispatch Minima’ guidelines to assist with your decision-making in regards to sky conditions.
Common sense goes a long way to interpreting your personal limits when it comes to sky conditions. Even if current and forecast sky conditions for your flight fall within our guidelines, it is always your responsibility as Pilot-In-Command to ensure you stay safe within your personal limits. “5 miles in light rain” looks a lot nicer on the ground than it does at 4,500 feet!
