The RFC is excited to announce that our C172 ‘JCC’ has been retrofitted with a new Garmin G5 PFD and HSI (Primary Flight Display and Horizontal Situation Indicator)!
All pilots wishing to fly JCC will require a checkout flight with an instructor to familiarize themselves with the operation and functions of the new instruments. We also encourage pilots, prior to a checkout, to read the Garmin G5 documentation to assist in understanding the limits and capabilities of the new flight displays.
